FAQ - Cranial, Polarity

What are Cranial and Polarity: Cranial is actually part of Polarity. (At my first Polarity class, the instructor drew a large tree, with the tree being “Polarity”, and the trunk as “Cranial”.) Surrounding your brain and spinal cord is a liquid called Cererbral Spinal Fluid (CSF). It has the same weight and viscosity of ocean water, but it is created by your body, in the brain. It is almost like your brain and nervous system are being constantly bathed in it’s own ocean of sea water. This fluid has been referred to as one of the highest known elements of the body, described as the “breath of life” or the “great river of life”. CSF greatly influences our body’s systems and overall health. A Cranial Practitioner works with this fluid, as well as the bones, fascia, and energy in your head, sacrum, and everything in between and beyond, to guide the body to heal.

Polarity grew out of a variety of Western and non-Western healing techniques (ie: Europe, India, Asia, Indigenous America). You will find ideas that draw from or are similar to Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Ayurveda, Reiki, Indigenous Shamanism, and Quantum Physics. Polarity learns from nature. Electro-magnetic patterns in the human body follow those found in nature. Physical and non-physical techniques are used to send energy through the body to open up any blocked areas. This reestablishes your flow and life force. What’s really magical about this work is that once you get the energy moving - the body unwinds and makes its own adjustments.

“Life is a song. It has its own rhythm of harmony. It is a symphony of all things which exists in major and minor keys of Polarity. It blends the discords, by opposites, into a harmony which unites the whole into a grand symphony of life. To learn through experience in this life, to appreciate the symphony and lessons of life and to blend with the whole, is the object of our being here. “ - Dr. Randolf Stone (one of the founders of Polarity).

FAQ - Reiki

How was Reiki developed? Reiki is a Japanese word that means “Universal Life Force”. It was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800’s. It is believed that the roots of Reiki are much older though, by thousands of years. (Some of the symbols taught by Dr. Usui came from ancient Sanskrit Sutras. Reiki also uses the chakra system).

What does Reiki feel like? That varies depending on the person. The treatment itself is very gentle. Some describe it as a delicate energy… like a soft summer breeze. Some may feel warmth, coolness, or a tingling of energy. Others may see or “feel” colors or light. Some may feel nothing at the time of treatment, but as the body processes the energy and starts to heal, a day or two later, the person will feel the results of the treatment and feel that their issue is better, or they feel a sense of peace and calm.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session? Nope. Just lay down and rest. After session, it’s a good idea to ground yourself by drinking some water. If you have to go back to a busy environment, try to give yourself 10-20 minutes before re-entering your world. Drink some water. Sit and feel your feet on the ground. Go for a brief walk. Look at nature (grass, trees, flowers, the sky).

FAQ - Akashic Records

FAQ - Akashic Records

Who is my “Spiritual Team?”  Masters, Teachers, and Loved ones.  Masters have been around since your soul’s inception and are responsible for your soul’s ongoing growth and development.  Teachers are lesson specific and will stay with you as long as you need to learn that lesson.  Loved Ones are people you have known but are now deceased (close relatives, friends, even those who barely knew you or bumped into you just once) who chose to actively support and serve you.  Your Spiritual Team members quite often assist more than one soul at a time.

What does “Akashic” mean? Akasha is an ancient Sanskrit word that means “primary substance”, that out of which all things are formed. Akashic Records hold both Universal Knowledge, as well as things specific for each soul. They are an ever changing, loving, fluid body of potentials and possibilities that we can work with, learn from, and grow.

Is this “channeling”?  Yes, this is a form of channeling.  Traditional channeling refers to the ability to ask for certain deceased relatives or friends to step forward and talk - I don’t do that.  I will only be communicating with those entities (some who have had a physical incarnation, others who have not) associated with your soul’s growth and your Records.

Do I have to believe in something, or change my religious beliefs?  No.  Come as you are, all are welcome.

What do I need to do to prepare for my reading?  Just show up!   Bring your questions.  If you need help clarifying your questions, I can assist you.

How often can you access your Records?  Anytime you want… no limit.
